 Consultations, although not a legal requirement with dermal fillers are recommended so that our advanced aesthetics practitioner can best advise the treatment plan to you face to face. Wrinkle Relaxing treatments must have a consultation prior to treatment.

 Dermal filler is a natural form of hyaluronic acid – a substance that occurs naturally in the skin. It is used to remove nuisance wrinkles and to resolve areas of lost volume, fine lines and deep wrinkles.

Wrinkle relaxing injections are  Botulinum toxin injections.

We will open the boxes in front of you and draw the product out in front of you. No to faces are the same therefore we will never have your product prepared in advanced. we believe this is bad practices. Many of our clients love the fact you can see us open the bottle with your name on and mix and prepare yur treatment infront of you!

 

PROFHILO is an injectable anti-ageing treatment made from hyaluronic acid for skin that is losing its elasticity and firmness with age. It can be used on the face, neck, decollete, arms, hands and knees, or any part of your body where the skin shows visible signs of ageing. There is an immediately noticeable improvement in skin tone, hydration as well as firmness, and lines are minimized.

PROFHILO is the first BDDE – free stablished injectable hyaluronic acid (HA) based product for treating skin Laxity. Hyaluronic acid is best known as a ‘filler’ and is usually used to give volume to lips or to contour other areas of the face. PROFHILO differs from the usual fillers in a number of ways due to its structure which allows it to flow over an extended area to boost hydration and smooth or ‘remodel’ the skin.

With one of the highest concentrations of HA on the market (64 mg / 2ml) it is not only boosting and hydrating the skin, but also remodels the ageing and sagging tissue.

PROFHILO delivers great results as a treatment on its own or in combination with other aesthetics treatment’s currently on offer.

 

Hyaluronic acid is a naturally occurring substance produced in our body, found in skin, joints and other connective tissue. Its role is to retain moisture in the body and aid collagen production. It can hold 1000 times its weight in water which makes it ideal for binding moisture in the skin. With age hyaluronic acid production slows and the skin looks duller and dehydrated, with fine lines and wrinkles forming.

As a stabilised product PROFHILO last in the skin around 28 days. During this time the stimulation of 4 different types of collagen and elastin takes place by slow release of HA. It contains one of the highest concentrations of stabilised hyaluronic acid on the market. Because it is thermally bonded and not chemically bonded it acts as a hydrator not a filler. It is injected just underneath the surface of the skin where it disperses quickly and reacts with your own tissue to instantly boost hydration. Over the next four weeks phase two kicks in as it goes to work boosting elastin and collagen production. This effectively remodels the skin and giving it a plumper, smoother and firmer appearance.

Due to its gel like consistency PROFHILO distributes smoothly and evenly without the formation of any lumps – a potential risk with traditional fillers. This means it can be used on areas which are difficult to treat with traditional fillers, such as the neck and forehead.

 

The full treatment consists of two sessions, one month apart. A further session may be recommended after approximately six months in order to prolong the effect.

PROFHILO can be used on its own or in conjunction with other fillers, laser treatments or Botox as a complementary, rather than a competitive treatment.

Polynucleotides are a component predominantly derived from salmon DNA, making them natural, compatible and biodegradable. Dr Bob Khanna explains that polynucleotides are “like food or medicine for cells, making them produce collagen and elastin and helping to improve the extracellular matrix” (that’s the structural support layer within our skin that keeps us looking youthful, containing those fibrous elements such as collagen, elastic etc).

Sometimes, Polynucleotides treatments can be referred to as Biostimulators, Biofillers, or Biorevitalisers (depending on the manufacturer and composition), but they all contain the core anti-ageing ingredient; polynucleotides.

Polynucleotides are scientifically proven to:

  • Stimulate and boost collagen and elastin production
  • Durably and efficiently repair the skin (and hair) at a cellular level
  • Hydrate the skin at a cellular level
  • Improve tissue firmness and elasticity
  • Have anti-inflammatory properties
  • Promote cellular renewal

Which basically means they are ideal for:

  • Lifting and tightening the skin
  • Improving skin texture and smoothness
  • Brightening the skin
  • Increasing volume within the skin
  • Minimising acne scars
  • Minimising stretch marks
  • Minimising/restoring hair loss

 

Fix not fill

Unlike dermal fillers, which are designed to temporarily plump the skin, Polynucleotides have been scientifically proven to regenerate the skin from inside, at a cellular level, increasing your skin’s hydration levels, collagen production, skin elasticity and more. Some Polynucleotide products are combined with hyaluronic acid (such as Pluryal Densify), for added volume.

See results quicker

Unlike other anti-ageing treatments such as skin boosters that typically take around 3 months to see improvements, improvements in skin quality from polynucleotide treatments can be seen in just a few weeks (or when combined with hyaluronic acid, results can be seen instantly).

They go deeper than other treatments 

By far, the most popular solution for the signs of ageing has been anti-wrinkle injections, (commonly known as ‘botox’). Whilst this still maintains status as an effective anti-ageing solution, the average treatment lasts around an average of 3-4 months. Most polynucleotide treatments are designed to last 6-12 months, with the effects also continuing to improve the underlying skin quality long after that.

They go deeper than other treatments 

Previously, the most effective injectable for skin rejuvenation we had was known as a “skin booster”. This is a type of dermal filler used to improve the skin’s quality by boosting hydration levels deep within the skin. Our new biostimulators (polynucleotide treatments) go even further, not just increasing hydration levels deep within, but also acting as a skin healer. Polynucleotides compliment the skin’s natural ability to self-repair by interacting directly with the fibroblasts and cells.
